Mike and Lauren’s mountain winter engagement session could not have gone better! These two were dreaming of a snow-filled session and we not only had that, but lots of warm sunshine, too! They wanted to make sure to include their one year-old lab, Dixie, and she was the most excited of all of us to be there. I think she would have been perfectly content to roll in the snow the whole time!
When I first met Lauren and Mike they told me they had first dreamed of having their wedding in one of their favorite spots – Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. But with family circumstances changing, it meant moving their big day more close by to The Sanctuary Golf Course. And though I’m bummed for them that their dream plans changed, I’m thoroughly excited to be a part of their celebration!
Like many couples I’ve met this last year, Mike and Lauren met online through Bumble. All it took was a little comment on Mike’s fishing and these two were hooked (see what I did there ;). Their mutual love of being outdoors (and fishing!) made capturing them up in the mountains the perfect spot! They were all in for hiking through the deep snow and I loved the portraits we were able to take for them both!
Lauren and Mike – I can’t wait for your big day in May, for all the excitement (and hopefully new home!) to come along the way!
