The Laguna Gloria in Austin, Texas is an ideal spot for an engagement session! When Jordan shared she had dreamed of this spot, we began working to make the timing just right. We knew as early as we could manage would be best because the Texas summer heat is no joke in the middle of June! The earliest we could get in, though, was not until 9:00 am when the sun was already fairly high in the sky. Jordan and David two handled it like serious pros (and then there was me dripping sweat off my face the whole time!).
Jordan’s sister-in-law had her bridal portraits captured here, so it was so fun to make it a part of their own story, too! From the beautiful architecture (both inside and out!), amazing trees, and fun sculptures throughout the venue there was no shortage of amazing spots to choose from. I could have stayed all day!
I loved the details that Jordan wanted to make sure we included, too. They grabbed a cake from their local grocery store and brought along some champagne to toast the occasion. I LOVE when we can include special details like this and had so much fun capturing all the fun moments made together! And Jordan also included her mom’s wedding veil as a fun detail, too which is such a fun way to include an heirloom as a part of their engagement story.
