Jordan and David’s love story is one for the movies! This couple’s meet cute happened when they were just 13 years old, across the Atlantic, in beautiful England. It was there that Jordan and David shared their first kiss in the rain and parted ways not knowing if they would see each other again. And years later, it was social media that led Jordan to seeing that David was not only State-side but in her hometown of Austin. And as so many a love story goes, one thing led to another . . .
Jordan and David’s special day was filled with so many personalizations to celebrate their wonderfully unique and sweet story. From Jordan’s stunning engagement ring filled with family diamonds, to the setting of their wedding at their family vacation spot in Breckenridge, CO. Family and friends traveled from all over the states to come and celebrate these two in the Aspen gold-veined mountains of Breckenridge.
And just as their day started, the clouds rolled in and rain and snow burst into the picture. And with so much ease and joy with this disappointment, Jordan and David went with every moment like it was intended to be that way. Their beautiful family home became all the more a cherished place for this couple to enjoy as we captured so many portraits inside and out!
One of my favorite moments came during Jordan and David’s welcome to their guests under the rain-filled skies in their beautifully staged clear tent outside their home. They thanked their friends and family and David shared that considering their first kiss was shared in the rain, it was fitting their first moments and husband and wife were also shared under the rain and snow of the Colorado skies.
What a joy and a privilege to have captured your special day, Jordan and David! To witness the love of so many of your friends and family, to sharing in dancing the night away, and to have been a part of storing up many cherished memories to hold close for a lifetime to come – you both are a treasure!
