These Denver winter engagement pictures may have been chilly, but with the extra sunshine and lots of laughs we had a blast! I love getting to capture couples in the snow. The clean white snow makes for clean, beautiful light reflected all around. Combine that with mountain views, a warm setting sun, and a couple ready to adventure with me in it was the recipe for a perfect session!
Korinne and Robert got engaged just a month ago before Christmas! These two knew they wanted a shorter engagement and are planning their big day for this summer in June so we hopped on getting their engagement session scheduled as soon as we could. And though they weren’t wishing for snow, we had a fresh few inches fall the night before their session and it made my photographer heart so happy!
When Robert’s job in finance brought him to Colorado from Ohio, it gave these two a chance to meet online through a dating app. And their dating story began 2 years ago in the midst of the pandemic shutdown. It may not be the most glamorous way to start dating, but I can just imagine them sharing this story with their kids and grandkids years from now! Not every couple meets and falls in love in the midst of a pandemic!
I instantly connected with Korinne, too, as she is a elementary teacher. Though I didn’t teach long before staying home with my own kiddos, I love that we share that in common! And I just know her students are so lucky to have her! Her genuineness, patience and kindness are so evident from the moment we first met!
I can’t wait to celebrate with these two and capture their big day this summer! Korinne and Robert, what a privilege to be a part of your journey and these special moments in your story! Enjoy some of my favorites from their snow-filled mountain engagement session!
