These lifestyle newborn pictures were such a joy to capture! I loved getting to meet Kristen and Ty’s new baby girl, Blayke, and capture their growing family all together. I first met their beautiful family through the kindergarten graduation pictures I offered last year. Their oldest daughter was finishing up kindergarten at the same time as our Andy. With all that Covid had thrown our way our kindergartners missed out on their graduation pictures, so I captured some for families that summer. I met so many wonderful families through it, and was so honored to capture them again last Fall. And now can you believe our kindie grads are going into 2nd grade? How quickly time passes!
As I was pulling up these pictures to post, I came across our own Connor’s newborn pictures and it was a further reminder of how quickly time goes by. Our little Connor is 2 and a half now and into everything! As mommas, we know how quickly our babies change and how wonderful it is to have these newborn portraits to catch it all in our memories before they change.
As I walked into their home it reminded me so much of our own. Full of life and memories in the making. I remember Kristen commented on how they’re still figuring out how to balance and manage life with three kiddos instead of two. And I remember that feeling all too well with the adjustments our family made with each new addition. And all too soon its hard to imagine life before each little one arrived. What an amazing journey parenthood is, how it changes us forever for the better!
