The Oaks at Plum Creek wedding venue was the perfect setting for Emma and Jenson’s beautiful, summer wedding! The day was full of sunshine, a warm summer breeze, and SO MUCH joy! It feels like just yesterday I was down in Colorado Springs capturing Emma and Jenson’s engagement pictures and maybe that’s because it really was just two months ago! These two got engaged just after Emma’s sister, Hannah, got married back in March and already knew that August would be their wedding month! And I am seriously so impressed with all that they planned and pulled together in just five months. Their wedding day was beautiful from top to bottom. I loved getting to photograph at The Oaks and all the many details and bright spaces that made it extra pretty!
Emma’s bridesmaids were so sweet and friendly and their compliments throughout the day were such a sweet encouragement! Jenson’s groomsmen were all about having fun and being Jenson’s cheerleaders. They all made celebrating alongside Emma and Jenson extra joyful! I loved the enthusiasm that not only the bridal party had, but all of the guests! Throughout the whole day there was so much cheering and loving on these two!
One of my favorite moments from their day was watching Jenson play a song for Emma as a surprise during their reception. Just wait until you see all sweet reactions!
I have so loved getting to capture not only Emma and Jenson’s wedding day but also Hannah and Greyson’s back in March. It saddens me that my time with their family draws to a close after celebrating both their girls weddings and I just know God has big plans for both of these couples! What a privilege it was to be a part of their beginnings as husband and wife. The best is yet to come!! Enjoy some of my (many!) favorites from their gorgeous day!
