I love a winter engagement session because it means we get clean reflector of light all around us! And clean light is my absolute favorite! Combined with a sunny day and an amazing couple and you have the perfect recipe for a memorable engagement session!
I loved getting to meet Chayla and Chris (through working for Felicia Marti Photography) at their session at Dawsons Butte Trailhead just south of Castle Rock. When you’re looking for a location that shows of you live in Colorado while also not being too far away, this location is a local favorite! And both Chayla and Chris are Colorado natives so this location was extra fitting for them both! And they wanted to include their gorgeous pup in their session, too, so we were sure to get lots of beautiful Azula in there!
Chayla and Chris got engaged at the Stratosphere Hotel in Las Vegas and have been planning a woodsy themed wedding for later this month up at The Pines of Genesee! I loved hearing about their plans and how they’re making their theme a reality for their big day. Chayla is also a hairdresser along with her mom, and her mom will be doing Chayla’s hair for their wedding day – I can’t wait to see it all come together!
