This Mount Falcon engagement session is definitely a new favorite! Not only did I have the most wonderful couple (who I had the privilege of shooting for Felicia Marti Photography), but we totally lucked out on the most beautiful, sunny, and warm day in early March! Spring time in Colorado is always a crazy weather time. Sometimes we have the most warm, sunny days and the next day we have a record snow storm move through! You just can never tell! So we got SO lucky for their mountain session and I am just so pleased and excited to share it with you!! Just wait til you see our sunset over the mountain tops!
Brie and Erich met online like many couples I have met recently. But meeting online doesn’t make things any less romantic when things are clear you’re meant to be together! Their families get along so well and love being together which I know will make their wedding day all the more special and wonderful celebrating their two families coming together!
I loved chatting with both Brie and Erich as we explored Mount Falcon Park and hearing more about their lives. How cool is it that Erich works for the U.S. Mint right here in Denver? I had so many questions and loved all the money jokes they shared with me like when Brie is asked what her fiance does and she replies, “He makes money!” Ha! And I was surprised to hear that there are only four U.S. Mints in the United States and we happen to have one right here in Denver – didn’t even know how special that was!
I am SO excited to capture their wedding day at The Vista at Applewood this September – its going to be stunning as the Fall starts to roll in! Erich loves golfing, too, so I’m excited to see how they incorporate their passions into their big celebration!
I have so many new favorites from their mountain session. So many beautiful views, amazing light all evening, and the most happy and easy going couple! I loved when I showed them a few pictures from the back of my camera towards the end of their session and Erich asks Brie “Does that make you happy?” Makes my heart so glad to see how his desire is to make his future wife happy! Enjoy some of my (many!) favorites from their session! Oh, and this one of my first sessions with my brand new mirrorless camera and it is SO SHARP, I love it!!
