This Garden of the Gods elopement was such a sweet, memorable celebration! I loved being able to capture Jack and Mandy’s exchange of vows as they promised each other forever and made it official as the sun set behind them over Pike’s Peak. I loved that our hike up from the parking lot at Garden of the Gods meant I had lots of time to hear how they met and how Jack proposed. I always love hearing these stories!
Mandy first met Jack when she walked into the car dealership where he worked. But it wasn’t until a year or two later when she came back to get a different car that they both connected. It didn’t take long from there for them to officially became a couple. And a surprise proposal sealed the deal when Jack threw a party disguised as a house warming get together and surprised Mandy with proposing and having an engagement party at the same time!
Mandy and Jack had big plans for a destination wedding in Mexico, but like many wedding plans this year, COVID changed that for now. But instead they decided to elope at the beautiful Garden of the Gods park in Colorado Springs. It was the perfect evening for us to hike up to the Siamese Twins formation jut as the sun was setting to capture their vows.
Mandy and Jack, what a joy and a privilege it was to witness your elopement! I’m so excited for you all as you prepare to welcome your little man! Enjoy some of my favorites from their big day!
