This Vista at Applewood wedding day was such a perfect day! It might have been September, but their wedding day didn’t even feel like Fall. The warm day, the gorgeous sunlight we had all day long, and the many sweet moments celebrating these two were simply ideal. I had the privilege of capturing Allison and Adam’s day shooting alongside Felicia Marti Photography. I loved getting to work alongside these two capturing beautiful moments all day long!
The ceremony location at The Vista at Applewood is situated so well for having an evening wedding ceremony. The wide open spaces combined with the light of the setting sun was so perfect for capturing their ceremony. And because the venue is also a golf course, it was special to also capture Allison and her dad as they were driven down to the ceremony site on a golf cart.
This year has made for a lot of changed plans, especially for couples who have been planning their wedding days! Allison and Adam’s day had to be postponed from July, but they were still able to hold it in September. Like most weddings this year, masks and hand sanitizers were a staple part of the day. I loved the way Allison planned to incorporate the masks in a tasteful way that made them feel like guest favors and still complemented their wedding day colors.
I loved the many details that made up their day! Their bundt styled wedding cake and little bundtlettes were so sweet (and delicious, too!).
I have so many new favorites from their wedding day to share today! The beautiful sunset made for the prettiest backdrop to capture lots of portraits together. Enjoy some highlights from their day!
