This Castle Rock Millhouse wedding was a memorable one! Firstly, because its the first time I’ve captured a wedding at this venue and secondly, because it was in the midst of a pandemic! The Castle Rock Millhouse is located right in my hometown amongst the foothills. It was the perfect spot for a smaller wedding!
I had the honor of working alongside Adam Thornton to photograph Jordan and Niki’s wedding day here in Castle Rock and the day went so well despite restrictions and a rainstorm that blew in just as their ceremony ended! But the rain passed over and the sun came back out and we were able to sneak out for some sunset portraits, too.
I love when I get to second shoot alongside another photographer, but one downfall is I don’t get the opportunity to know the bride and groom very well before their big day! But I loved getting to know Jordan and Niki a little as we captured their celebration. It was a sweet celebration and I’m so honored to have been able to capture it!
