One of the greatest honors of being a photographer is when my clients come back to me for their portraits year after year. And even more of an honor is capturing portraits for a photographer friend! I consider Tamara’s family session as my first Fall session as the leaves are just beginning to turn, even though we’ve had close to 90 degree weather all this week! I’m so ready for the cooler weather to hit, the gorgeous Fall color, and all the smells and plans and excitement the Fall brings with it.
Kicking off the season with Tamara’s family was so fun. We had a last minute location change to Roxborough State Park and it was such a fun change to make! I just love the red rocks, the changing leaves, and the easy walking paths. And even more fun is the time I get to know their family better. Tamara is a fellow wedding photographer and I’ve been honored to shoot alongside her a number of times. And her husband, Derek, is a pilot currently training on a new aircraft! I’m always so impressed when I see pictures they share of Derek flying their family places!
Enjoy their Fall session! P.S. You can see how their sweet kiddos have grown at their Fall session from last year, here!
Tamara, thank you for the honor of allowing me to capture you all again!!
