Walking into an extended session as a family photographer is like walking into a family reunion. It feels like such an honor to be part of an event that brings all of a family together, and to get to capture the joy and excitement that comes from loved ones just spending time together. For the Chadwick family they are lucky enough to have most of their family still in Colorado, but one family of their number came all the way from Oregon to be together this past week.
Kristy and Rick have the most beautiful grandkids – 8 in all ranging from 15 months to 15 years! What a joyful bunch they are, though! I loved watching the older cousins play with and encourage their young little cousins as we coaxed for smiles and made our time all the more fun for them. The word family truly stands out in my mind as I think back on our hour spent together on this early Fall afternoon.
We had some blazing sunshine and close to 90 degree weather, but we didn’t let it melt our spirits! I loved the glow the plentiful sunshine brought, and I just know it contributed to the joy these images evoke! Enjoy these portraits of this amazing family!
