Fall Portrait Outfit Guide #1
Can you believe Fall is already here?? The leaves are just starting to change in the foothills, and the morning temperatures have dropped. So as I’m typing this with a Pumpkin Spice Latte in hand (its my first one, promise!!) and thinking about how I should have already pulled out my Fall decor bin from the garage, I was reminded that I haven’t sent out this guide I actually created a few weeks ago with YOU in mind! I know its tough to pull together outfits, to know what colors/patterns to go for, and make it all come together to look good with the scenery around you this time of year. So I’m working on a series to help with just that! And I thought I would start with this Fall portrait outfit guide! It has links to one whole set of outfits that go well together, that are flattering and timeless, and would look amazing among the Fall colors starting to change!
Here are a few tips on picking out outfits:
- Start with Mom – find something you love, that flatters your body, and don’t be afraid of a pattern! Dresses and skirts that create movement are so beautiful in portraits!
- Build your outfits from yours – find colors and patterns that coordinate in the same color family (they don’t have to match exactly)
- Lean towards soft neutrals and pastels. These blend with nature so well and show off the scenery around you. Soft, neutral colors also keep any color reflections from the sun off your face!
- See if you can stay away from jeans! This little challenge will make take your outfits to the next level!
