Jessica and I have known each other since we were nine years old, growing up in Castle Rock together and living just a few streets apart from each other. The years have taken us both thousands of miles apart and back together again, but I’m so thankful for the steadfast friendship we have shared through the many years we have known one another! I have so many memories of playing as girls with our Barbies, bikes, and exploring together in the mountains. And then being in each other’s weddings and celebrating milestones in each other’s lives through the years.
It was such a pleasure to get together with Jess this past weekend again, but this time to capture family portraits with her mom and her brother and his girlfriend. The leaves are changing so quickly here, I loved seeing all the hues of gold and red and orange dot the landscape. It made for the perfect backdrop for this sweet family, and for some anniversary portraits for Jess and her hubby, Steve, too!
