It was a gorgeous evening filled with bright sunshine and not-so-crisp and cool fall air! It ended up being a 70 degree evening (which I’ll take any day)! The warm breeze, the remnants of bright Fall color, and a joyful family made this session so much fun!
Kayla’s family met up with me at McCabe Meadows Trailhead in Parker to capture their family and to document their adorable little Jax (with the most stunning blue eyes you’ll ever see!) who had just turned one.
As they piled out of the car I loved seeing their smiles and readiness for their portraits. They nonchalantly mentioned that if there was time they would love to get some pictures of the three of them in their new jerseys because Deck had just made it into Major League Baseball! WHAT?! That is amazing! Ya’ll, I have an official claim to fame! What an honor it was to be a small part of celebrating that journey with them and all the excitement it brings.
Kayla, I so loved spending an hour with ya’ll capturing moments and preserving memories of your sweet little family! What a momentous year to commemorate with your little man having his first birthday, and celebrating Deck’s journey into the MLB! So many congratulations for you all! You could just feel the joy of you three in just spending one short hour together!
