Happy Tuesday, friends! Life as a Momma of three is never dull around these parts. Can I get an amen?? But I wouldn’t have it any other way! As a glimpse into our crazy little world, here are some of the highlights of my last week.
~ Grocery shopping is always an adventure, especially with my little Andy who is 2. He loves to yell at the top of his lungs, “Who’s that guy?!” and most often I duck my head and quickly swing into the next aisle. Sometimes we get an extra friendly passerby who doesn’t mind my munchkins comments and stops to meet my little ones.
~ Potty training is the bane of my existence. We’ve been working hard on my little man to get potty training down, and we’ve been doing so well after about a month of diligently working on it! I decided we should be safe for a Target trip which proved to be famous last words. We were there no longer than 15 minutes when Mr. A decides to pee all over the cart and all over the stuff I’m buying laying directly underneath him (Baby girl’s car seat was in the main part of the cart). I rehearsed the whole way up to the register, “Uh . . . hello, do you have any cleaner and paper towels I could use? My son had a little big of a, uh, accident all over the stuff that I need you to scan.” Yeah, that’s not awkward at all! Thankfully I had a really kind checkout clerk who also gave the boys stickers. Amazing what a sticker will do for a boy’s morale.
~ I bought my very first LuLu Roe shirt! I feel like I have an “in” now into all the hype and can officially say I know what everyone means when they say how soft the fabric is, definitely comfortable! I tried the leggings, but I just can’t pull off those bright patterns! I’ve heard you have to ease your way in.
~ We had a movie night with our MOPS ladies (our Mothers of Preschoolers group) where I watched Singing in the Rain for the first time. So that’s where I’ve heard all those songs from! So funny to hear songs I’ve always known and the movie they came from.
So there you have it! Tuesday tidbits from this Momma’s crazy life! Hope you all have a wonderful start to your week!
P.S. I’m determined to start potty training even earlier with kiddo #3. How early have you successfully started? I’d love to hear your experiences! Blessings!
P.P.S. I’ll leave you with a few shots of my munchkins from our Phoenix vacation.
