This Denver Botanic Gardens wedding was the perfect backdrop for blending both Young-Saeng’s Korean heritage and Matt’s Jewish heritage. They had touches of both their family traditions mixed throughout their day. Young-Saeng traveled all the way to Korea to find her wedding gown, her heart set on a fusion style that brings together American white gown tradition with the beautiful style of the Korean wedding gown. And Matt’s own father made their beautiful Ketubah that also blended their Korean story with their Jewish one. Just wait til you see!
It will come as no surprise when I share that these two not only met online but met during Covid. I’ve heard so many stories similar to theirs but, like every love story, it was perfectly unique! It just so happened that while Matt was home from the East coast during a shut down period, it meant that he and Young-Saeng could have their story meet-cute. Their shared love of so many things instantly drew them together.
When Matt took Young-Saeng ring shopping she was so surprised when he proposed that very same day! And they picked one of their favorite spots at Denver Botanic Gardens to tie the knot!
I loved being a part of their day and so many special moments! Enjoy some of my favorites to retell the story of their beautiful garden wedding day!
