A couple weeks ago our whole family went out to South Carolina and Georgia for a week long family vacation on Hilton Head Island. It was a very welcome break from our every day lives, and I got to do one of my favorite things: explore! I knew when we were planning this trip that I wanted to have our own family pictures taken while we were there. When I came across Katrina’s work on Instagram I knew she was exactly who I was hoping to find! Her work is light filled, emotion centered, and simply gorgeous. I so wish we had the time to get to know her better, but I’m so grateful for the amazing pictures she took of our family!
And lest you think our family was a perfect little crew because their mamma is a photographer – we started out with our oldest outright refusing to take pictures. The sweat and heat (I think Katrina told us that day there was a 108 degree heat index with the humidity!) and lack of sleep from flying from Colorado definitely played a part in our munchkins moods. But I’m so thankful for Katrina’s patience with our littles and not giving up on us despite the frowns, haha!
