As I pulled out of my driveway the raindrops starting pelting the windshield. I glanced over my shoulder to see the dark clouds on the horizon and took a deep breath. I had been praying all week that the rain would hold off and the sun would continue to shine as brightly as it had all morning. I had been excitedly looking forward to these mini sessions for two months and now that the day had arrived I just wanted it to be perfect for each family that had entrusted me with their family portraits.
As I hit the highway I prayed some more and distracted myself with a podcast, but was so pleasantly surprised as I pulled into the park to see the clouds clearing. It ended up being the most perfect day for portraits, and the blossoms I had been anticipating did not disappoint!
The Brittman Family was up first and their energy and excitement boosted my spirits and made me all the more excited for their pictures. With so much fun energy, there was no way we could go wrong!
