I love that taking that pictures allows me the chance to not only meet new friends, but get to know current friends even better! So it was this last weekend that I got to spend an hour with the Layman family as I took their family portraits. John and I grew up in the same church and it was such a pleasure to get to know his sweet wife, Tanya, a little better and their beautiful daughters!
We went up to Daniel’s Park on Sunday evening to capture some portraits with the majestic mountains in the background. Their adorable little girl, Mia, was such a trooper in the cold breeze. She did so well taking pictures and was excited for her reward at the end – her favorite – ice cream! I just love that she wanted a cool treat even when she was already cold from being outside! It was an honor to capture your family pictures, Tanya and John! I hope they bless you with cherished memories for years to come!
