There was a quiet breeze, a beautiful sun setting in the distance, and a picturesque lake spread out beside us. The Catamount Mountain Lake in Steamboat Springs was a perfect backdrop for a beautiful couple. Suzanne and Jayson are celebrating 10 years together this year, and we met up in Steamboat Springs to capture their anniversary portraits as a part of their celebration.
When Suzanne had shared with me that their wedding pictures didn’t turn out, I knew we had to make these pictures extra special to help make up for them! And though in no way will this day replace their wedding day, it was so fun to commemorate their journey through their images. And I think in a lot of ways, celebrating the journey is even more joyous!
